Why Contract?
Contracting has many benefits when compared to permanent work, and equally as many drawbacks. It is a personal choice and not to everyone’s tastes.

Simply put, a contract role is normally a temporary role for a set period of time. These contracts can often be extended or continued on a rolling monthly basis. But the concept is geared around committing to work for a company for a certain length of time. The upside? Invariably it is more lucrative. A contractor is often paid weekly, the income you generate is usually more per hour than it would be in a permanent position and you often have more flexibility to work the hours you want to or to take extended holidays etc.

Invariably there is less job security and the danger is that there may be gaps of unemployment between contracts, off-setting the extra money you earned and leaving you with no real benefit. Depending on your skill set, the experience you already have and taking current market conditions into consideration, our specialist consultants will be able to advise you of the likelihood of being able to secure continued work and how much you could earn on contract. We can also offer assistance and guidance on the different ways of setting yourself up for a successful contracting career and ensuring you make efficient use of your earnings to maximise your take-home pay.

Appoint Group puts great effort into offering an exemplary service for our contractors, ensuring we offer a hassle free, smooth and knowledgeable service throughout. “We interviewed all seven of the candidates they put forward for the role and offered six of them. Appoint Group really understood our requirements and came up with the goods. I would happily recommend them to anyone.”
